Pick-Your-Own at DeLaTerre Farm
Slow down, breatHe in the farm air, and fill your basket with seasonal produce. At DeLaTerre Farm, our Pick-Your-Own experience invites you to harvest seasonal produce on select Saturdays — a true agritourism outing that connects people to food, farming, and community. We use regenerative methods to create memorable, educational experiences around nature’s abundant harvest. You could say we’re planting a self-harvest tradition right here in Eros, Louisiana.

🌱 How We Grow Your Food at DeLaTerre
When you come pick your own produce at DeLaTerre, you’re part of more than just a harvest — you’re stepping into a farm that’s healing the land.
Soil-Building
We enrich the soil with compost, biochar, and mulch so each plant grows in living, fertile ground.
Cover Crops
Between veggie rows, and at the end of the season, we plant cover crops to keep living roots in the soil and feed pollinators.
Pasture Rotation
Our animals move across fresh pasture, fertilizing naturally and keeping the farm ecosystem balanced.
Weed-Free, Chemical-Free
Instead of sprays, we use landscape fabric and living pathways to control weeds and conserve water.
Companion Planting
Canteloupes grow alongside okra, drawing in pollinators while keeping the soil cool.
👉 Every basket you fill is part of a bigger cycle — good food, healthier soil, and a thriving community.
